Sneak Attack, Farmhouse Saison brewed with organic cardamom pods.
I happened upon this beer while grocery shopping today and decided to try it out and so I bought a six pack of it.
21st Amendment makes some pretty good beers so I knew it would be nice, especially since this was their Winter Seasonal brew.
Upon opening this beer I was pleasantly surprised at how really good it tasted. It was better then I was expecting. This is a very nice beer, its almost surprising that it is available in a six pack can format.
At 6.2% it’s a good tasting strong beer but yet tastes lightly floral with some nice spices and was very refreshing. Not what one usually expects for a winter beer which is what makes this beer great and sets it apart, its got a very unique good tasting flavor and aroma.
Then there’s the great artwork that accompanies this beer….
Sneak Attack is by 21st Amendment out of San Francisco California.

The following statement from the website summarizes this beer perfectly
You might not expect a Saison in winter. But the enemy didn’t expect Washington to cross the icy Delaware, either. Expectations be damned, we say. We’re sneaking up on winter with a boatload of bravado and this Belgian-style farmhouse ale. Dry hopped with whole organic cardamom pods, our Saison has an assertive spiciness. In your face, winter.
Sneak Attack is our late winter seasonal beer available from January through March in six pack cans and on draft.
