Eating healthy when dining out

After the start of the new year I really started paying attention to menus and food choices and found it is possible to eat healthy when dining out. It’s all a matter of making the right healthy choices.

Many restaurants now offer healthy selections somewhere on their menus, you just need to look for them and observe calorie counts and nutritional balance in the meals you are ordering.

To my amazement I was even able to find healthy choices at Red Robbin Restaurant which is known for their burgers. I had a turkey croissant sandwhich with a side of black beans instead of fries that was very good.

The worse thing to eat is french fries, avoid them as often as possible, they are around 300-400 calories just for a side of fries.
